My personal work is motivated by continual learning, observation and a longing for discovery.
I have a keen interest in our interaction with the environment, and often explore the synthesis between heroic, technological resolutions to crises and a spiritual acceptance of change, decay, chaos.
I am currently working on a project called 'The Hydrofields', which combines a written story with accompanying artwork and illustrations. The project explores our relationship with the land in an age of increasing reliance upon and integration with technology. Imagine Steinbeck's dust bowl stretched across a planet in a far away solar system, where cities struggle for sustainability in containment, held in domes that spot the vast landscape they left barren.
